Sincere apologies to all who contact Wolfwood via the mobile number and don't get an immediate response. We have limited resources and are currently struggling with the volume of calls. The phone is answered 'on the go' and is not answered if hands are busy walking dogs, dealing with wildlife casualties, livestock, RSPCA officers, the dog warden etc. We hope you understand and thank you for your support and patience.
Not all rescue dogs have issues. Some of our dogs have obviously been well cared for, educated and will fit into any dog loving home. Many are in poor physical condition with no basic training at all and some have more serious issues, created by the people who discard them. These dogs require homes with special people.
When we are satisfied that you are probably the right one’s for each other, by visiting and spending time with the dog on at least two visits, undertaking a successful trial home visit (which may last between 2 and 4 weeks) and establishing that there are no unsolvable problems, then we will sign your dog over to you.
We still have a pair of neutered ferrets needing a home. Please ring

Wolfwood has three intensive care incubators with individual accommodation for over fifty at any one time. This little one, with it's seven siblings, was hand reared
from the day they were born until all eventually safely released.
