Sincere apologies to all who contact Wolfwood via the mobile number and don't get an immediate response. We have limited resources and are currently struggling with the volume of calls. The phone is answered 'on the go' and is not answered if hands are busy walking dogs, dealing with wildlife casualties, livestock, RSPCA officers, the dog warden etc. We hope you understand and thank you for your support and patience.
Not all rescue dogs have issues. Some of our dogs have obviously been well cared for, educated and will fit into any dog loving home. Many are in poor physical condition with no basic training at all and some have more serious issues, created by the people who discard them. These dogs require homes with special people.
When we are satisfied that you are probably the right one’s for each other, by visiting and spending time with the dog on at least two visits, undertaking a successful trial home visit (which may last between 2 and 4 weeks) and establishing that there are no unsolvable problems, then we will sign your dog over to you.
There are many photographs and updates of ex -Wolfwood dogs on the Support Wolfwood facebook page.
Wolfwood receives a donation from Petplan each time a policy is taken out on an ex Wolfwood dog.

Stephen waiting to speak at a local Townswomen Guild Group - April’18
Some of our dogs being exercised by staff.
We are delighted to benefit from the skills and enthusiasm of Sue (& Pete) who generously raises funds and donates her time, bringing out the best in the dogs who are with us, while they wait for a new home. http://www.suemilliganphotography.com/
If any local school or community group would like to know more about the work at Wolfwood, Founder/Manager Stephen is available to come, speak and share his passion. He can be free sometime during the day and evenings from late September until April, when the wildlife work takes over. Contact him on 07931220094.
We still have a pair of neutered ferrets needing a home. Please ring
